In March 2018, it was announced that Anna Wood, Ato Essandoh, Raffi Barsoumian, Phillipa Soo, Jeff Wincott had joined the pilot's main cast. On August 16, 2018, it was announced that Luke Mitchell had replaced Dave Annable in the role of John "Sid" Sidney, then six days later on August 22, it was announced that Dana Delany had replaced Mira Sorvino in the role of Eisa Turnbull.
