Scorch was a Syndication network sitcom series created by Allan Katz, which aired from February 28 to March 13, 1992, lasting for only one season & three episodes (leaving 3 more episodes unaired).

Plot[]
The series centered on Scorch, a small 1,300-year-old dragon who wakes up from a 100-year nap in 1992. While flying around, he's struck by lightning and crash-lands in front of the apartment of Brian Stevens and his daughter Jessica.
The next day, as a result of awkward circumstances, Brian gets a job working as a TV weatherman at television station WWEN-TV in Hartford, Connecticut by pretending that he's a ventriloquist and Scorch is his puppet and nobody (except for Brian & Jessica) knows that Scorch is a real dragon.
