Mr. Adams and Eve was a Syndication network sitcom series created and executively produced by Collier Young.

The show aired from January 4, 1957 to July 8, 1958, lasting for two seasons & 66 episodes.

It was produced by Bridget Productions and Four Star Productions.


The series centered on the personal and professional lives married couple and Hollywood actors Howard Adams and Eve Drake.

Broadcast History

"Mr. Adams and Eve" aired at 9:00 p.m. Eastern on Fridays between Dick Powell's "Zane Grey Theater" and the anthology series "Schlitz Playhouse of Stars."

However, the ratings for the second season fell and Syndication canceled the show in 1958, with rebroadcasts continuing until September 23, 1958.


Ida Lupino was nominated for an Emmy Award for "Best Actress in a Continuing Role".
